2008 UC Riverside Baseball Camps

This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet the UC Riverside coaching staff and familiarize yourself with "Highlander" baseball. The Camps will provide you with valuable instruction for your development as a player and an opportunity for you to display your talents.

Each camp will consist of offensive and defensive evaluations. Instruction will be conducted by the UC Riverside coaching staff. Each day will also include informative talks from various academic support personnel. Also, participants will be divided into teams for evaluations of their performance in game situations.

Finding Fun In Fundamentals - August 11-13 for Boys aged 7-14

Calling all young, aspiring boys basketball players aged 7-14. The UCR Highlanders Men's Basketball program wants to help you improve your game. If you are seeking fundamental teaching from some of the best College Coaches around, then this is the camp for you! The Men's Basketball Coaching staff aims to incorporate "FUN" while teaching fundamentals of the game of basketball. Jim Wooldridge is a former NBA Coach and can provide a wealth of knowledge to young men looking to get better.

2008 "UCR School of Basketball" Camps
Boys and Girls Ages 6-15
June 23rd- 26th, 2008
Session I: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. $150
Session II: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. $150
Both Sessions: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. $250

Our camp focuses on improving fundamentals and skill levels through mini-clinics, drills and games that will help players gain the skills needed for the next level. Players are divided into groups by skill level and age and will be instructed by UCR coaches and players. Space is limited to first 65 campers.

Volleyball All Skills Camp

Session I Elementary & Jr. High School Girls $180 each
Monday August 4 - Thursday August 7 / 9:00am - Noon

Session II High School Girls All - Skills Camp $150 each
Monday August 4 - Thursday August 7 / 2:00 - 5:00pm

All Skills Camp
This camp is dedicated to the improvement of the FUNdamentals of the game.   Instruction will include individual skills of the pass, dig, set, hit, block and serve. Individual skills will then be incorporated into team offense and defense. Aspiring young athletes wanting to play volleyball at a higher level will benefit from the knowledge and experience of Division I college coaches and players. The camp goal is to provide a positive, success-oriented learning environment in which players learn not only the skills of the game but life-skills that will help them find success in other areas.

and other experienced coaches and players.
