Highlanders Compete in Cal Poly Men's Intercollegiate

(Mar. 27, 2008) – After the first two rounds of the Cal Poly's Men Intercollegiate in San Luis Obispo, UC Riverside is in 10th place in the standings. Freshman Nick Paez leads the Highlanders with scores of 81 and 74 to currently be in a tie for 41st.

UCR heads into Friday's final round with a team score of 622 as Cal Poly sits atop the leader board with a team score of 581. Nick Delio of Cal State Northridge leads all individuals after his two rounds of 69 and 71.

Stevel Solis produced back-to-back rounds of 80 and Scott Clayton recorded rounds of 81 and 79 as both players enter Friday in a tie for 60th.
