UC Riverside's Allison Wilder Finishes 2nd In Triple Jump
At UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational

(April 13, 2008) – UC Riverside's Allison Wilder's triple jump of 39', 7.75" gave her a second place finish over the weekend as athletes from around the country descended on Los Angeles to compete in the UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational.

Melissa Genisauski and Elvin Tabah both picked up fourth place finishes in the Open Discus and Open High Jump respectively. Genisauski's throw of 147'' 11" was four feet shy of a second place finish, and Tabah's 6' 6" was two and a quarter inches off the first place mark.

Kyle Moschkin also participated in the invitational for the Highlanders finishing ninth in the Open Shot Put with a throw of 46' 6.25".

Next up for the UCR track and field squads is the Mt. SAC Relays on Thursday, April 17.
