Score vs. Long Beach State
(Sept.
28, 2007) - The Long Beach State 49ers posted a 30-21, 30-17,
30-25 win over the visiting UC Riverside Highlanders at the
Pyramid in Long Beach Friday.
The 49ers are now 8-5 overall
and 2-1 in the Big West, while the Highlanders fell to 4-9.

Senior middle blocker Angie
Mitchell was the only Highlander to record double-figure kills,
notching 10 without an error in 18 attempts for a .556 clip.
While UCR hit .200 (40-15-120) on the match, no other HIghlander
amassed more than six kills. For LBSU, Michaela Hasalikova
led four players in double-figure kills with 13. LBSU hit
.377 (56-13-144) on the match.
The Highlanders will face
Cal State Northridge on Saturday, September 29 at the Matadome
in Northridge.
