Score vs. CS Northridge
(Sept.
29, 2007) - The Cal State Northridge Matadors hit .400 as
a team and posted a 30-20, 30-15, 30-26 win over the visiting
UC Riverside Highlanders at the Matadome in Northridge Saturday.
The Matadors are now 5-11,
2-2 in the Big West, while the Highlanders fell to 4-10. 0-3.
UCR junior Kelly Fink led
the Highlanders with 10 kills and a .381 hitting percentage
(10-2-21). But UCR hit .168 as a team (32-15-101) and couldn't
overcome the Matador attack. CSN's Brittany Williams had a
match-high 16 kills, while Val Kepler added a dozen kills.
The Highlanders host UC
Davis on Friday, Oct. 5th at the Student Recreation Center,
then host Pacific on Saturday, Oct. 6th. Both matches begin
at 7:00 p.m.
