(Nov. 2, 2007) – The
Highlanders volleyball team (5-17, 1-10) fell to the Pacific
Tigers (14-7, 7-5) three games to none in Big West volleyball
in Stockton, Calif.
Dominique Cowling led the
UCR offense with seven kills and Raquel Salinas hit an impressive
.357, but the Highlanders couldn't contain the high powered
Tiger offense.
Three Pacific players recorded
double-digit kills including a team-high 20 from Kara Uhl.
With the win the Tigers are now tied for third in the win
column in Big West play.
UC Riverside continues their
Northern California trip as they visit UC Davis tomorrow for
a match set to begin at 7:00 p.m.
