20, 2007) – The Big West Conference announced today
that UC Riverside senior Angie Mitchell has been selected
as a member of the Big West Women's Volleyball All-Conference
First Team.
Her selection to the All-Conference Team completes an impressive
season. The outside hitter from Palmdale, CA. led the Highlanders
with a career-high 284 kills, an 2.87 kills per game average,
and 126 total blocks this season. Her 126 total blocks were
also a career high and ranked 5th in the Big West Conference.
This was the first post-season selection for Mitchell by the
Big West Conference.
