Game two was much closer, as the teams battled to a 30-27 UCR win, overcoming a match-high .356 hitting percentage in the game. In game three UCR took advantage of 12 Davidson errors and a miserable -.105 hitting percentage (8-12-38) to cruise to a 16-point win at 30-14. With momentum clearly in their corner, the Highlanders built a 10-3 lead in the early going of game four, only to see Davidson once again bounce pack to cut the lead to 12-11. But this time the Highlanders didn't let Davidson back into it, bulding the lead up to seven at 20-13, and eventually winning by an 11-point margin of 30-19.

In the nightcap, the Highlanders struck first with a 30-22 win, but the Lumberjacks came back to take game two with a 30-22 win.
