2006:
Did not play volleyball... played softball for
UCR, appearing as a pinch runner and outfielder
in 43 games, scoring nine runs... was 1-for-3
with a double at the plate.
2005: Appeared in a team-high 93 games... started
one-of-27 matches, playing primarily as the libero...
led the Highlanders with 383 digs, an average
of 4.12 per game... added 30 assists and 28 service
aces, second on the team... had five kills and
one error in six attempts... credited with one
block assist... had a career-high 33 digs at Northeastern
(9/13/05)... added 29 digs against Pacific (9/24/05).
2004: Appeared in 34 games... started one of 17
matches... averaged 0.06 kills and 0.62 digs...
hit 1.000 on the season with two kills in two
attempts... had three assists, three aces and
21 digs... had a season-high four digs against
Hofstra (9/4/04), then matched it against Rider
(9/11/04)... posted a pair of service aces against
UC Irvine (11/19/04).
High School: Was a four year letterwinner in volleyball
under Coach Dennis Nguyen... was a four-time girls
varsity most valuable player... was All-Camino
Real League First-Team in 2001, 2002 and 2003...
became the first and only female Serra HS athlete
to earn 12 letters during her high school career,
also earning letters in soccer and track and field...
earned four All-League first team honors in soccer,
helping her team to back-to-back Camino Real League
Championships in 2003 and 2004, earning CRL Most
Valuable Goalie honors in 2003 and 2004... in
track she won the Del Rey League long jump championship
in 2002 and 2003, the 200 meters championship
in 2004 and was a member of the championship winning
4x100 relay team in 2002, 2003 and 2004... graduated
magna cum laude and reached the honor roll in
eight semesters... won the 2004 Serra Female Scholar-Athlete
Award and the 2004 Serra Woman of the Year award.
Personal: Kimberly Denice McNeal is the daughter
of Eric and Denice McNeal... majoring in liberal
studies with an emphasis on religious studies...
would like to become a high school or special
education teacher... roots for the Los Angeles
Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers and Oakland Raiders...
favorite food is ramen noodles... favorite television
shows are Charmed and Girlfriends... favorite
movies are “all Disney movies”...
hobbies include painting, listening to music and

was jumping 18’ 3-3/4” in the long
