High School: Was a four year letterwinner for
Coach Barbara Klews... earned First Team All-Hayward
Area Athletic League honors as a sophomore and
was team MVP in 2003 and 2004... also played basketball,
helping her team to the Northern California semifinals
in back-to-back years... the team reached the
NCS finals in 2005 and won the NCS championship
in 2004... played on the same club team as Brittney
Murrey.
Personal: Raquel Salinas is the daughter of Mauro
R. Salinas and Dr. Dalia E. Perez-Salinas... nicknamed
“Rock”... majoring in business economics
administration with a concentration in marketing...
