Highlanders Ninth at North Texas Classic

(Sept. 10, 2007) - The UC Riverside women's golf team sits in a tie for ninth place after one round at the North Texas Women's Golf Classic at Robson Ranch in Denton, TX.

The morning round was washed out by thunderstorms, but the second round began has scheduled. The third round should start as scheduled Tuesday morning.

The Highlanders shot a 20-over 308 in the tournament. Sophomores Allison Ek and Alexandra Erdman are tied for 19th at four-over 76.
