High Scholl: Was a four-time letterwinner and a four-time captain for the St. John’s Knights that won four straight Independent Interscholastic Association of Guam (IIAAG) team titles… was a three-time All-Island champion, 2005-07… was four-time IIAAG champion, 2004-07… named Female Athlete of the Year in 2007… also was named to HS Honor Roll while being an active member of the Environmental and Spirit Clubs.

Personal: Esther was born in Hogatna, Guam and is the daughter of Jim and Sun Yi Chung… nicknamed “Ess”… has declared Business as her major… favorite athlete is Tiger Woods… enjoys the writings of Mitch Albom and Dave Pelzer… favorite books are “Tuesdays with Morrie” and “The Five People You Meet in Heaven”… enjoys eating sushi and fried rice… favorite T.V. shows are “One Tree Hill,” “Lost,” and “Fullhouse”… favorite movie is “A Walt To Remember”… likes to listen to Jack Johnson… hobbies include playing piano, volleyball, gold, and soccer… her most memorable sports achievement came when she was awarded the Femal Athlete of the Year at her HS graduation… her biggest influence is her sister because “she challenges me to be a better athlete.”
